How long do the ingredients last? The ingredients should be kept in the fridge and consumed within 1-2 days. For eg. if you receive your box on a Tuesday you should consume the food by the end of the day on Thursday. Alternatively freeze your dough on the day of delivery for up to 1 month. We do not recommend re-heating the pizza once cooked.
How do you ensure the products stay fresh during transit? We use a combination of Woolcool liners and Sorbafreeze ice packs. The liners are used, with great success, by a variety of different companies to keep fresh produce cool. They are also used within the pharmaceutical industry to keep medicines cool. So you can sit comfortably knowing your pizza ingredients will arrive fresh and in tip top condition. You can find out more about how Woolcool works to keeps your food safe here.
Do you offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten free?Yes we have a range of vegetarian pizzas on the website. If you require a vegan alternative please feel free to drop us an email and we will see if we can accommodate. At the moment we do not have any gluten free pizza recipes, however this is something we are hoping to launch very soon! Sign up for updates on our latest products via our newsletter in the footer below, simply pop in your email address and we will let you know when our latest products are released.
What if I am not home for delivery?Don’t worry, our delivery drivers have instructions to leave your Rosso Pizza Box with a neighbour or in a safe place, out of the sun. Your Rosso Pizza Box will be safe here until the end of the day, however we do recommend unpacking and refrigerating or freezing as soon as you can. If you think our drivers might have an issue with delivery to your address, please let us know your delivery instructions in the note box at checkout.
What is included in the box?In a Rosso Pizza box you get everything you need to create restaurant quality pizza at home, each recipe is individually created so you can find a full list of the ingredients on each product page. You will also receive a handy recipe card with instructions on how to create your pizza masterpiece, plus all the allergen and nutritional information. If you lose your recipe card, don't worry you can see a PDF here.
Where do you deliver?We deliver anywhere within mainland UK. We are looking into delivery to highlands and islands but at the moment this is on a bespoke basis so please get in touch and we can send you a delivery quote.
My order hasn’t arrived.If your order hasn’t arrived by 7pm on the chosen day of delivery, please get in touch here. We will contact our delivery partners to find out where your Rosso box has got to.
There’s a problem with my Rosso Pizza box. If your box has arrived but it is damaged, please let us know here. If your box has arrived safely but you have missing items, please let us know here. We pack every order ourselves so please rest assured that this will be a very rare occurrence.
Can I track my order?The day before delivery you will receive an email link to track your order. On the day of delivery, you will receive a text to confirm a delivery slot.
Will the Rosso Pizza box fit through the letterbox?Unfortunately, our boxes are too large to fit through any letterbox.
Can I recycle my packaging?Here at Rosso Pizza, we set out to create this business with sustainability high in our priorities. Our boxes are made from recycled cardboard and can be put in your recycling bin. The wool liners can be used for a variety of different things such as hanging basket liners, pipe lagging, craft projects and so many more (see the hashtag #letsboxclever on social media for some great ideas!) or you can simply remove the plastic for recycling and pop the wool in your compost bin. We are also hoping to introduce a send back rewards system in the coming months where customers can return the wool liners to us and as a thank you receive rewards and discounts off our pizzas! All our tubs and packets are fully compostable and made out of plants, not plastic. You can read more about our Vegware tubs here.
Where can I find a list of allergens and the nutritional information?You will find a list of all the nutritional information and allergens on your recipe card. Or find a list of all our ingredients here. If you wish to speak to a member of staff about ingredients, allergens or nutritional information please get in touch and someone will get back to you as soon as possible!
How do I prepare my pizza?Can I use a conventional oven? Each recipe comes with an individual recipe card with full instructions on how to prepare your pizza. Whilst we love a wood fired pizza for its authenticity you can still create an amazing pizza using your normal kitchen oven, on its highest setting!
The recipe I want is sold out?As a small business we only allow a certain amount of orders to be processed before a product will show as sold out. This is to ensure we can fulfil all our orders and to minimise any waste from over purchasing stock. We update our website and stock levels on a daily basis so please do keep checking with us to see if your favourite is back in stock.
How can I give you feedback on your recipes?We love to hear from our customers, if you think you have the perfect pizza recipe then please get in touch here!
Can I order for future?All our orders go out for delivery on the next Friday. However if you want to place an order and pop it on hold for a few weeks for eg. If you have a celebration coming up or a date night planned, then that isn’t a problem. Simply pop us an email with your order number and the preferred delivery date and we will pop your order on hold until then.
Do you offer any referral discounts?At the moment we do not have a referral programme in place, but please check back soon as we have some exciting plans in the pipeline.
How is Covid19 affecting Rosso Pizza?Rosso Pizza wouldn’t be here without Covid19 and is a business that has been established during a worldwide pandemic meaning our hygiene and food safety standards from the outset have been incredibly high. We have a number of processes in place to protect our customers and staff and strictly adhere to the current government guidelines. If anything changes, you can check back with us here where will keep you updated with our latest processes. There is no evidence of transmission through food.
Can I cancel or amend my order? If you need to make any changes or cancel your order, please get in touch with us as soon as possible here. Unfortunately if the order has already been dispatched then we will not be able to make any further changes.
